Back in my bachelor days, there was a lady I was interested in. I admired her, enjoyed our conversations, and saw the potential for something more. But there was just one problem, I lacked the courage and confidence to express my feelings. Instead of making a move, I played it safe, and we unknowingly friend-zoned each other.

I even saved her name on my phone as “Desire”, a silent reminder of what I wanted but never pursued. I kept waiting……waiting for the perfect moment, waiting for courage to magically appear, or hoping she’d somehow pick up on my unspoken feelings. But that moment never came. Instead, one day, she introduced us to her new boyfriend. My silent desire had become someone else’s reality.

Vision without execution will generate frustration. It’s not enough to have dreams, goals, or desires, without action, they remain just that: unfulfilled wishes. Opportunities don’t wait for us to gather courage; they go to those who are bold enough to act.
